Skin Template Layout
Template Positioning
In every skin, there is a 'styleTemplates' directory/folder. Within the 'styleTemplates' directory there are 4 further directories; boxes, content, global and popup, as shown in the screenshot to the right.
The Popup directory includes only one template, which is used for additional images for a product. It is rarely altered, therefore we will not cover it any further here.
In each of the skins screenshots shown below, the image itself incorporates the global templates, the content templates and the boxes templates are used from within the global templates. For each area shown, the code for that template can be found in the relevant named directory of the Skin files. Ie, where the red box has 'boxes' written in it, look in the boxes directory for the template.
Classic Skin
Looking at the Classic theme, this is the default template positioning in the skin.

Legend Skin
Looking at the Legend theme, this is the default template positioning in the skin.

Killer Skin
Looking at the Killer theme, this is the default template positioning in the skin.

Third-Party Skins
The positioning of the Boxes and Content templates are determined by the Global templates. In most cases, the third-party skins will layout the content area and side boxes in much the same way as in the shipped skins as shown above.
